Tablescapes

As a member of ABC (Association of Bridal Consultants) I get to participate in wonderful educational and networking meetings. At our March meeting, we had an exciting tablescape competition at 550 Trackside.

If you are environmentally conscious, you can do great things with a green themed table. Notice the cute party crashers at the table?

In February, I had the pleasure of being invited to Get Married A Toast to the South Soiree at Opera. There was a breathtaking mirrored table designed by Bold American Events & Catering.

As you can see from these great designs, you don't have to have a boring standard table design for your wedding, rehearsal dinner, shower, or any other event in your plans. Be creative!

Bells of Ireland

The first time I saw these flowers my eyes got very big. I had to find out what these unique long stemmed green flowers were called. They are called Bells of Ireland and they mean good luck.

They are paired with two of my favorite flowers in this unique bride's bouquet. As you can see, they add a dramatic effect.

Anemone

This is the first post of our new Flower Meanings series. So we decided to start at the beginning of the alphabet with the letter A. We selected the beautiful Anemone. Anemone means to forsake or forsaken.

This is a clean tight centered flower and it would work well if your colors are black and white. Perfect for the bride ready to take her vow to "Forsake all others."

More Pictures to Share

Here are a few more pictures from last month's double wedding ceremony. Enjoy!

Both brides enjoying a quiet moment before the ceremony.

The couples enjoying hugs and kisses right after they are pronounced husbands and wives.

We sent the couples off to the reception with bubbles. Lots and lots of bubbles.

The two couples shared their wedding cake and the start of thier brand new lives together.
