Google Wedding Tools

Google recently launched some new tools to help engaged couples simplify planning their wedding. Their wedding website will help you keep guests informed about all the important details of your wedding such as directions to your venue, where you are registered, and it even allows them to RSVP. Picnik allows you to use your own photos to create personalized announcements, save the dates, and etc.
Another great tool is Google Docs which helps stay organized with guest lists, to-do lists and much more. Finally, Picasa web album is a great way to share photo inspirations with your friends and family.
The designs throughout the tools were created by destination wedding planner Michelle Rago. For more information visit.

A Venue with a View "Wish List"

We have brides who come and to us with different ideas of what they envision for their wedding day. All brides have reasons for deciding what venue they select for their wedding celebration. Even if having a venue with a view wasn't on your "wish list", when you tour a event space with a magnificent view, you may just change your mind.

The Ventanas is one of Atlanta's newest facilities. It has floor to ceiling windows that offers a fantastic view of downtown. In fact, ventanas means windows in Spanish. Let's not forget the rooftop view or the view from the helipad.

We wouldn't do this post justice if we only showed you outside views. The Georgia Aquarium has one of the best views in town and it's inside! There won't be a lack of conversation when you have whales swimming around you.

You don't have to be a member of The Buckhead Club to host a wedding there. Here is another great view of the city. This time it is of Buckhead.

The Atlanta Botanical Garden not only has the prettiest flowers in town, but it also has a great view of the skyline from the Gazebo.

Real Housewives of Atlanta Season Finale

If you are a fan of the Real Housewives of Atlanta like I am, I'm sure that you were glued to your TV on Sunday night for the season finale. We watched in anticipation all season as Cynthia planned her wedding to Peter. I'll admit, there were quite a few times when I wondered why she didn't just hire a wedding planner.
Some brides think that they don't need to hire a wedding planner because their wedding venue has a site manager, the catering company has a banquet captain or they have a wonderful friend with style who will help out. Wrong!
Living in Atlanta myself, I know that we have a lot of wonderful vendors in this city. We all play an important part in assisting you plan and execute one of the most important days of your life.
Your full service wedding planner's job is to help you put all the pieces of your wedding together during the planning stages, wedding rehearsal, and the big day. We are there every step of the way sharing our knowledge and experience with you. Your wedding planner helps you stay organized, refer you to vendors, negotiate so that you get what you want at a price that you can afford, show you ways to cut costs, work with your vendors, as well as manages all of the details on your special day so that you can relax and enjoy it!
After all, this is a one-time thing for you, we do this for a living. We are armed with checklists and time lines....and we are not afraid to use them! So ask yourself, how do you want to spend your wedding day?
