Stop to Smell the Roses

With all the different flower choices available for brides to decide from, you could spend a lot of time just selecting what flowers to use. But I say, sometimes you just need to stop and smell the roses! Okay...okay, so I wasn't the first person to say it, I know. I am just the one reminding you.

Calla Lily

C is for calla lily of course. By far my favorite flower. I carried a similar bouquet to this one, except that it was white, when I walked down the aisle thirteen years ago to my wonderful husband.
Since purple is one of my favorite colors, I decided to show you how beautiful they can be in this royal color. In fact calla lily means magnificent beauty. I agree. Don't you?

Anemone

This is the first post of our new Flower Meanings series. So we decided to start at the beginning of the alphabet with the letter A. We selected the beautiful Anemone. Anemone means to forsake or forsaken.

This is a clean tight centered flower and it would work well if your colors are black and white. Perfect for the bride ready to take her vow to "Forsake all others."
