Congratulations Nicole & Rashaad!

On a steaming hot summer afternoon in July, Nicole and Rashaad exchanged their wedding vows and became husband and wife.

The lovely bride was escorted down the aisle of the outside ceremony at Atlanta Botanical Garden by both of her proud parents.

I had a wonderful time being the coordinator and floral designer for the husband and wife doctor and lawyer.

I used orchids, roses, and lilies to make the bride's casual yet elegant wishes come true!

Brooch bouquet

I've written about crystal bouquets and feather bouquets as alternatives to traditional flower bouquets. Another option is a brooch bouquet. Brides are loving this current trend because some of them don't like flowers or they have floral allergies. Another great reason to do brooch bouquets is to show off family heirlooms.

Congratulations Renee & Robert!

Back in April, our team assisted Renee and Robert on their big day. The loving couple got married at the Westin in Buckhead.

The bride fused her Persian culture throughout the day's activities. One of the highlights was the belly dancer who also did a dance with a sword that was on fire!

After a fun night of dancing, the couple's three hundred guest enjoyed some of their 5 tiered wedding cake. The cake as well as the rest of the wedding nice and colorful.

Congratulations Renee and Robert. Here's to love, laughter, and happily ever after!

A Splash of Color "Wish List"

I love having discussions with brides about how to incorporate color into their wedding. Most brides grow up dreaming of their wedding all of their life. One of the first choices you might make are what colors you wants to include. Once you decide on your colors, some brides don't know how to use those colors throughout the day. So here are a few ideas for you.

I found this great inspiration board. As you can see, if bringing in color is on your wish list, there are endless ways to do it. You can bring in color on your bridesmaid dresses, bouquets, invitations, shoes, men's ties, your cake, chair sashes, lighting, drapery, and my favorite, signature drinks. But you don't have to stop there. Have fun with it. Happy planning!
